Good Sign for Hauntshow...

For any doubters if there are any left... here is a good sign for the Hauntshow in St. Louis.

Monday we sold the 4th most tickets to our tour since they went on sale back in January. We will be over 1,000 tickets sold by the end of today.

You can count on no less than 1,000 people attending the Hauntshow which by all reports would be double Houston or Vegas retail shows.

So this is a good thing! I'm betting that we'll see about 2,000 people attend this show over the three days which will be a staggering amount of people for an industry many people said is worthless.

Larry? 1000 people signing up for your haunted house......does nothing for the vendors.
It shows that there will be 1000 people in or around St Louis this weekend.
Now I have made this rude comment in the past.....but i also fall into the catagory.....

HOW MANY ARE FROM THE SAME COMPANY?
We have at least 9 of our crew if not more going to the show......none have purchased tickets to Larrys haunted house....so I know there will be more than 1000 people at the show!!
Put like i am saying.....how many will be flying the same colors.

Our conventions are like the begining of the WARRIORS movie
Put us all in one room.....you can see the colors....logos....you name it
Right????? OK whos the dudes in the baseball uniforms??????

I know a few companies that may not be around much longer due to slacking sales from the major retailers. One of them is not the biggest company but they do make some cool stuff.
The guys who made....STABBO....GREEN GHOST....and a few others that you have seen at SPIRIT and SPENCER stores everywhere....

Folks.....buyers.....haunt owners.....people who enjoy scary stuff

There are four of us coming... I agree, I'm sure there are ALOT more people than 1K as many haunts and companies are bringing more than 1, 2, or 3 people.

Also, it was kinda hard to read but if your hinting at the retail and attractions show hooking back up, I do think that's a horrible idea. This arguement is dead horse... why is it that people can't stop talking about this? We have our own show and it's going to be awesome.

To boil down what I said....

1000 for Larry .... is great....and it means 1000 people in st louis at that time
1000 more people but all from the same companies will be there for sure
The people going to the show? Please spend money?

I was told by TRANSWORLD there were 3000 registered buyers?
And that was 3 weeks ago.
Does ANYBODY know the real number?????

Larry is not estimating.
This is the # I and many others were told directly by a Transworld Exec, and she were genuinely excited by the registration #.
You just can't fake that kind of excitement unless you are a sociopath.

This is what I know for a FACT... OVER 1000 people will be there. THAT IS A FACT!

I have been going to tradeshows for 18 years. I think the attendance will be right around 2,000 for the show overall. I figure at the very least half of everyone who attends this show did not hear about the haunt tour, didn't catch it, or maybe do not want to attend.

I'm putting the figure of haunt tour to total attendance at 50%.

I think we'll see 2000 buyers at this show. Yes I agree with Ken NOT EVERYONE will be a buyer... that is a given at all shows.

But when they only saw 500 in Vegas you know those people came with other people to so you know it was REALLY bad then huh?
