This past year I took the position of scaring people in the parking lot, in line and after they exited the house.
How it worked was like this
PARKING LOT:I would wait at the back of the line while a car drove by so they would not see me. I would then follow along beside the car crouched below the windows so they could not see me. The boy scout parking the car would tell me where the girls/moms or most likely to be scared were sitting and I would move over to that side of the car so when they opened their door I would lunge in screaming at them.
IN LINE: The line would go from the front entrance all the way back to the parking lot between two rows of pic-nick tables. What I would do to scare the people in line was sneak up and stand right behind them, my face right next to theirs looking at them which was great because in everyone else the their group would see me and freak out and the person I was right next to would have no idea why.
EXIT: The last thing in our house was a hallway where you gt chased out by a chainsaw. Once you go through the door you are back outside close to where you came in, all you do is walk 10 feet and turn right at the wall or go left and do a interview. However since the last scare was a chainsaw I could hear it from the parking lot so I would hide behind the wall and scare them again after they got outside.
All of these scares were extremely effective especially when people were getting in and out of their cars. However people always complained on how it was cheap or they were not expecting it or how it was unfair etc....I really want to know your thoughts, comments, do you think it will effect overall business?
