Very cool picture, your place looks huge. So you have an outdoor maze then, do you cover it during the season?
Allan
It's pretty large, our fenceline and "usable" haunt area is somewhere around 200 x 400ft and the maze is just shy of 5000 sq ft (124' x 40'). We used to cover it with a massive tarp and roof trusses, however since 04 we have not. If we cover it now, the inspector considers it an enclosed space and would require it to be sprinkled even though there is absolutely no source of ignition in the maze, no power, etc. So, needless to say, we no longer cover it. Probably 1/5 of the haunt is outdoor and we advertise it as such, I'm not overly concerned about some patrons getting a light sprinkle. We only seem to get one decent rainstorm a season, so it hasn't been much of an issue.
We also used to tear down the entire maze at the end of every season, stack the panels and then rebuild it every year. We stopped doing that a few years ago when we realized that patrons don't memorize the maze and as such, we don't need to change it every year.

The picture is very distorted.
That temporary canopy is right tight to the side of the house not 50 feet away from it as it seems to be in that picture. The shape of the house is very symetrical, the cupola on the roof IS NOT way off to one side it's centered and looks like a real house not some kid's cardboard box whittled on with a jack knife!(that display is in the backyard.) hahahah! no it isn't.
This picture was taken over a year and a half ago, see my new 4 door Jeep? See the 2001 Blazer we were trying to sell? See the Nissan Pumpkin-faced truck? It's junked out now, rusted in half, saved the decorations. See me naked in the cupola window?
Of course not, unless my powers of hypnotic suggestion are stronger than your will to rationalise on your own! You do want to see me naked then!?
Not you lucky day.
If you check out the google map on darkness you'll see the big hole in the ground that is now our new section of the building. Back in October it was still a hole... it goes to show that they don't remap things often. Because our new building has been a building in some form since the end of October.
If you zoom OUT you'll see the back of the building. From seeing the first image they have now I can tell you that photo is at least 2 years old. Last year we ran our ticket booth out of the bulding itself. This google map doesn't update often.
Hit Birds eye view after it loads. From where the arrow is, look just north of it and follow that road on the right, that's our drive way. Keep following it until you start seeing buildings. That's our property, We have 3 haunted houses and a free hayride that takes you from your car to the haunts. The picture is about 2 yrs old. We've added a lot since this picture
I'm a little late on this post but saw how cool all the other haunts have pictures of there buildings so this is Frightworld America's Screampark's 2009 building in Buffalo New York
