Nothing too exciting this weekend. We rebuilt our freezer scene and moved the Brain Surgery dude into the library.

Very cool!
That brain surgery prop is one of my favorite props made by Unit 70!
Can't wait to see more!

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Pepper's ghost hall. I'm a sucker for a good pepper's ghost effect. Glad to see some of the people at the haunt already getting excited about it this early.sigpic
There are three rules to designing a haunt. Unfortunately, nobody knows what they are.

Tonight we started implementing our lighting design. This year we are going for a Creepshow/comic book style. Here are some pics. Enjoy!Last edited by MindWerxKMG; 09-11-2009, 07:54 AM.Kevin

Yesterday's Idea!
I needed a roof extention to cover a new item outside. Do I really want to spend that much money? (Who does?)
I decided I could more easilly just raise a roof I already have that is portable and on wheels. It's corrugated galvenised steel on a steel tube framework, supported by a steel tube frame on lockable casters. I just cut 4 pieces of 1" galvenised pipe, drill 8 holes and extend the thing to do what I need done.
Extra added savings, it's not adding to my real estate taxes because it's on wheels!
Property taxes are something to think about because they Never go away, they just keep increasing.
21yrs. ago my expenses looked like this: Electric-$20. a month-now $145
Water & Sewer $25 a mon.-now $65.
phone-"0"- now $175, min.
Gas-$400yr.-now $1,400
Prop. Taxes $250 yr. -now $2,300.
Ahh! Those good ol days!
"Where"? Does my $ Go?
