    Join us at the National Haunters Convention for the biggest and best Halloween Show and Costume Ball on the East Coast. This is like a combination of your favorite Haunted House, a masquerade ball, and a contest show with the charisma of a vampire.

    - Onsite DJ playing some of your favorite current songs, party songs, and those horror classics.
    Total cost is only $75 per person which includes full admission to the costume ball, 1 free drink at the bar, and any events of the evening!

    Time and Location
    - The time of the Costume Ball is scheduled as 7:30pm sharp until 1am!

    - The costume ball will be conveniently located at the Waterford Ballroom at the Scanticon Hotel attached to the Convention Center.


    Costumes / What do I wear?
    - The theme of the Ball is Pirates of the High Seas so anything Pirate themed is appropriate

    - In addition, feel free to wear your FAVORATE Halloween costume…many people will be wearing what they love the best which might range from anything such as a cowboy, a clown to even Alice in Wonderland….no matter what you wear, you will not be out of place. You are free to not even wear any costume and just attend the ball to have a good time.

    - There will be MANY door prizes handed out by a lottery type of basket system. When you enter the ball, you will receive three free lottery tickets. You will place them in the baskets that you are the most interested in. In addition, you may purchase additional raffle tickets at the Costume Ball itself. Throughout the night, we will draw a ticket from the ticket holders for each individual basket and announce the winners of that prize package basket!
    Mythology Contest : In addition to the many door prizes, there is a distinct 'sponsored' event run by the Museum of Mythology. There will be a one 1st Place, 2nd Place and 3rd Place Winner. These prizes will be awarded to those who have the best Greek, Viking, or Egyptian costume.

    NOTE: 1st Place Costume Winner : 2008 Mummy Costume
    - Thus, MUMMY Costumes are NOT eligible for a prize for this year


    Food and Beverages

    --You will receive 1 Free Drink Ticket to the bar.

    - The Bar will also remain open from 8pm until 1 am as a cash bar

    - Cash Bar Costs:
    Soda $2.00
    Juice $2.00
    Domestic Beer $4.00
    Imported & Premium Beer $4.75
    Call Brand Mixed Drinks $5.00
    House Wines $5.50
    Premium Brand Mixed Drinks $6.50

    - In addition, there will be a buffet dinner that will entice you and feature many dishes.

    Sounds like it is going to ROCK!

    I am excited to have RFR come out to NHC this year so we aree prepping the booth, merchandise and ready to rumble at NHC.

    Now if I can just get my best Jack Sparrow Accent or at the very least a good Pirate Zombie.
