Looks like he won! Who says you can't fight city hall???
Problem will NEXT season! City council will have time to pass new regulations just to cover this kind of thing!!
Trying to make Haunts fit into Amusement Building statutes caused problems in our city. Their solution? Create a whole new catagory called "Haunted House". Now it doesn't matter what other regulations state, it if is a "Haunted House" you follow the new rules for this catagory!!
He stopped fighting it after Oct.31 but the city did not, the court ruled in favor of him because the city was not inforcing zoneing laws across the board. It was like they just went after him and not the other haunt down the road that was doing the same thing. If they would have just droped it there would have been no ruling. I say good for him and hope he get to open again this year.
A local doctor writes some pretty interesting letters to the editor .
Now this county wants everyone with a tanning booth to pay the Co. health dept, $250.oo a year to have them come and inspect the booths.
The Doc says we now live in a "Nannie" society.
Government almost never gets smaller, it propetuates itself.
Nobody knows where all the $ from the state lotto goes either?
All of it was earmarked for the schools, they called it "Education", so then some of the lotto money went to "educate" Police dogs, hey, it's "Education", right?
Maybe if more human students were better educated they wouldn't need all the police dogs?
What if a police dog got his "Masters Degree? Who could be his "master" then?
Problems, problems.....
"Ring!"
"Hello, oh, it's Sargent Woofy on the phone for you."
"Bark, bark, growl, grrrr!"
