Very unique museum. If you like or have any interest in oddities then you should definetely see it.
It was one of the main reasons we were thinking of attending that convention. We just don't have the time to add it to our already insane schedule.
I haven't been in years but it has some really interesting medical curiosities and freakshow looking specimens. It's definately worth checking out if you've never been there.
It used to be a great source for medical students to study various medical conditions. They have the real Siamese twins lifecast, Cheng and Eng. A lifecast of Joseph Merrick, tons of skulls from around the world, shrunken heads, even a 47 pound tumor.
The Mutter Museum isn't a haunt, it's a museum of medical oddities.
Some people don't get why it's part of a haunt tour, but I can tell you from first hand experience that it *WILL* be one of the scariest places you will ever go in your life, because all the abnormalities that you see are real. ( I've had *nightmares* after seeing the pourous skeleton, no lie.)
