Monster-Tronics animatronic costumes appears on Wolfman Mac's Nightmare SINeMa Detroit’s newest TV horror host which can been seen every Friday night @ 1am on My20TV WMYD Ch.20 starting 3-14-08!
Monster-Tronics animatronic creatures not only appear on some of the episodes but Monster-Tronics has also recently provided the animatronics for the shows co-host Boney Bob.
Now that Boney Bob is animatronic, it will give the shows creators more freedom in different camera shots since it is an all wireless animatronic character. No wires, no puppeteers needed because Boney Bob uses some of the same technologies used in Monster-Tronics animatronic costumes, just push a button and Boney Bob goes into action. Boney Bob’s mouth movements are sync’ed by the actor speaking into a wireless transmitter.
Wolfman Mac hosts classic ‘B’ horror and sci-fi movies on Wolfman Mac’s Nightmare SINeMa which is the first locally produced broadcast television show other than the news since the mid 90’s.
Movies like Vincent Price’s "House on Haunted Hill", "Plan 9 From Outer Space", "The Brain That Wouldn't Die", and more, are enhanced with the showing of retro TV commercials and music videos that you remember growing up with. The skits are fun and campy, the movies are cheesy, and while the jokes make everyone groan, Nightmare SINeMa is always in good taste for the whole family.
Nightmare SINeMa is looking for additional sponsors for the show now. You can get a commercial for your haunt or if you have another business starting around $100.
Monster-Tronics is also working with horror movie production companies and other horror hosts around the country so keep your eyes peeled for other M-T creatures popping up soon.
