article idea
I would like to see tips for the struggling haunter.. when you are on an extreme budget, where to put your money to make it count. Or maybe an article about haunts that are in desperate need of marketing on a very tight budget, and how to get a sponsor or investor to help you promote maybe?Virginia's premier outdoor haunted attraction-

I agree! Articles for the struggling haunters...
And how about also 'Small Market Haunts'.
Not necessary struggling small market haunts, but just small market haunts in general.
I'd love to read about both of these things...

Hi Larry, yes meaning haunts that buy the magazines, read the forums, do everything suggested, make most of their own props and masks, take all the advice given on advertising, pay their employees and actors but at the end of the day their income causes a struggle to do it again for the next year. Haunts that are going into their 8th 9th or 10th year and still have trouble scraping up enough money to do it again after all the bills are paid. Haunts that are are extremely frugal, and create our their props and pneumatics built in house and have what's known as a decent crowd during the month for the area but when all is said and done it's not enough to get everything to improve the next year. Maybe is the area a factor, maybe advertising is put into the wrong places? Maybe a quick guide to basic rules on the haunts that are struggling, like where advertising money is best spent, etc.. I know there's A LOT of factors on this so it is difficult and all of the Hauntworld articles have been very helpful.. But any kind of advertising on a budget type of articles would be great. I enjoy reading about the haunts that have made it big, but also would enjoy to read the stuggles they have overcome and HOW they did it... Advice for the people who put their heart and soul and skip meals to do a haunt, but still year after year have a hard time... maybe? Thanks so much!Virginia's premier outdoor haunted attraction-

The new edition of Hauntworld Magazine is almost done... it will be going out very soon. This is a VERY special edition because we will totally address the issue of EXTREME haunted houses. This issue will probably ruffle some feathers... but it needs to be addressed.

Folks the magazine is almost ready to ship and I'm not kidding you it will be the most controversial issue we've ever produced... this issue is going to blow the top off some very hot issues in the industry. In this day and age of digital media if you are going to print a magazine it has to be GREAT and this one is BEYOND THAT... I think you will all appreciate it.
Lastly I took one posters advice and wrote an article about things you can do to increase your business, get over the hump so to speak. So you spoke I wrote... Larry
