Best Hotel for Houston/Hauntcon show

Anyone that has attended, can you give advise on best hotel, value, closeness to convention center? Making the trip since the shows are combined this coming year.

I stay at the fulmor heights manor hotel on westbrier. Clean, not expensive, great people. See ya there !!!!
