  • Humus: Some things belong below the ground!

Humus is the brown or black organic part of the soil resulting from the partial decay of leaves and other matter... and what a better place to find humus than in a cemetery!
That was the source of inspiration for my latest website template, and it's for sale. All the info about it is in the home page, just click the logo at the end of the intro:

My wife likes humus, usually on crackers, personally I don't care for the stuff. Kinda looks like that equally weird stuff from Hawaii..poi except it's probably gone bad! I'll stick with cheese and crackers!

Humming humus is especially distracting and potentially scary.
Vibrating cheese is also upsetting. If it waits to begin vibrating after you have consumed it, this is always a forewarning of bad moments in one's future.
Always shoo away vermin before eating, especially if you never turn on the lights when eating.
The average level of your good health will be compromised and defeeted if you eat vermin's shoos!

There is the old story about the Eskimos not wanting to eat Blue cheese, yet they put raw eggs under the ground and ate them several months later when they would have to be rotten!?
This was a story concerning two different cultures meeting one another and their basic different attitudes concerning just what is editable and what is not.
The two cultures were the Feench and the Eskimos, but then the French can have all the snails as far as I am concerned!
          To each his own.

The original edible humus was made by fermenting garbanzo beans in the stomache of a dead goat, letting it absorb the flavor of the stomach acids.... I can see how the two aren't that different

god, I think I chosen the wrong name for this, I didn't know that Humus was better known as food than as soil.

Hey Redcrow -- the name got all the attention, but I figured I should come back and say that the Flash looked really good.

Thanks for the feedback Duke, I really appreciate it. The name of the topic was designed to draw attention, but now that you match it with the second meaning of the word it makes not much sense LOL. How can a sauce belong to the ground? and who -for crap sake- would eat it? LMAO!! :P

Armando, don't you dare change the name! It's an attention getter (I looked because I think humus is disgusting), plus it has originality. Keep the name, Sweetie!
