Get out! 2 Ren Grands??? I know there's a Renaissance near the airport... But I thought there was only one Renaissance Grand (the one across from the convention hall - 800 Wash. Ave)
Are there really 2 Ren Grands?? I hear the Holiday Inn (which is right there too) is good also.

OK... Just heard it from the horses mouth:
Both the Suites & the Grand are the same hotel... but the Grand's rooms have the option for 1 King or 2 Queen, whereas the Suite's rooms have 1 Queen and a pull-our sofa (no option for a king).
And there we have it!
See you in St. Louis!

Last year I stayed at Renaissance St. Louis Airport and Doubletree Conference Center since priceline.com wouldn't allow me to add an extra night to Doubletree when I bid on a hotel and wanted to add an extra night later on. Renaissance near the airport is real nice, nicer than Renaissance Grand next to the convention center. There are also plenty of restaurants and stores close to the hotel, but it's a little under 15 minutes from America's Center. I would suggest that you bid on a hotel through priceline.com to get a really good deal on your hotel stay.

Half of what I do on the internet is talk on here, so I'm really not worried about it. I just wanted to make a big deal about it for a second. Because if I wasn't going to be absolutely uninterested in getting online I might be like "really, renaissance?".......lol
I doubt I'll even open my computer for real. I'm just going to bring it in case I need it for something....like memory card dumping my camera.

Booked a room at the Roberts Mayfair for the expo, oddly there were no Convention rates, but I got a room for 99.00 a night and to be honest all I need is a place to sleep. The hotel is right around the corner from the convention center, two blocks froma grocery store and right next door to the Ren Grand.
I am super excited to be coming, didn't think I would be able to go.
Now I need to buy my ticket to insane shane's really want to do this.
See you all in two weeks!Ed Roberts

Havent booked yet...will likely be trying the Renn this year or doing the Mayfair again if there is a huge price difference.
