Im looking for small hands and body parts like brains, hearts ect. That you can put in water and grow to natural size. Needing them for some cool containers I got for a lab scene.
Thanks,
Damon
I had a hard time finding them too. What I ended up doing last year was purchasing a couple of those grow in water snakes from the Dollar Tree and cutting them up and popping them into my bottles. It was a cool effect and nonspecific to identify what was inside, but when I aged the bottles a bit, popped on an ancient looking browned and curled classification type sticker and backlit the bottles, the effect rawked.
Oh, and we have a few of these in our haunt as well. They look so much better in the photo though, just to let you know. I was a bit disappointed with them.
What was wrong with this heart it didnt get very big? I had a hand that was pretty awesome. After many years its finally fell apart. I think anatomical chart used to sell them? I have to look there. Any other places anyone knows please post. And thanks for the other sources everyone.

Use almost the real thing!
When I began my house a former classmate of mine (A truly goofy-guy) wanted to sell me a large van load of preserves ,home canned, he got from someone's basement, tomatos, beef, green beans, they looked very nasty and dangerous about to burst open because of lid/rust if nothing else.
I told him to put them back in the ditch where he found them!
I actually thought I knew where they came from. A house had been demolished recently and I used to work on the furnace in the basement.
The shelf was so full and so weak the boards curved way down under the weight and looked really scary!
There's an idea:Scary Shelves looking as if everything on them is about to tumble, break and explode!
I didn't want to stand within 10 feet of them.
The local Vets gave me a pool of melted plastic after their autoclave screwed-up and melted syringes and such into each other, it looked" Mad Doctor-Evil".
No it didn't get too big and there wasn't any detail to it really. In the pic it looks painted, in real life it wasn't painted at all, just the color of the plastic which was pink. But it worked and you got two body organs in the container so that was a good deal.
My Dollar Tree store had hands and feet in October. Michael's Crafts store also had a pretty good variety of stuff. the leftovers are probably all sent back to the warehouse by now but it wouldn't hurt to ask.
