Well, it was a long trip but we made it. Drove straight through to Boone,IA from Hawthorne,Fl. and then headed back about 2 hours before stopping for the night. I had been up for 36 hours straight. We got up and left for Mt. Carroll and the Raven's Grin Inn, you didn't think we would come all this way and not see Jim. (Look for up coming post about this REAL haunted house) Travis the home haunter that made the hearse has lots of cool things he has made for his home haunt, if I would have had room in the truck I would have tried and bought some of it. I will tell you this I know why they call it the great white north. When we are done with this prop you will be able to sit on it or lay down in the back as well as towing it. The prop it self is built very well, it's the wheels that will not hold up, so we are changing them out with wheels we have for our cannon props that we are making this year and will use these wheels for the cannons. Here are some photos, enjoy and thanks for posting that link Kel.

Very cool! I'm glad it worked out for you SITI! We're all in this thing together. Definitely post pictures of the carriage in seasonal use. I'd love to see them!

"Something", Now that you have just made the trip and it is fresh in your mind, you can more appreciate my Great-Grandfather Bucher who was in northern Florida in 1865, then walked all the way back to Mount Carroll!
At least the war was over!
