Hey Lauren Thanks!!! and thanks to everyone that has posted comments. I really need the encouragement. Things are coming together but it is slow. Lauren, you are heading out pretty soon right? I'll be thinking of you!! What a wonderful thing you are doing! Love ya!
Sue Rome was not built in a day!!!!
Plus so far from the photo's it looks great just keep at it and when you get the chance keep posting those progress photos.
OK back again. Here are a few pics of the finished skeleton columns. I painted them brown and then dry brushed over them with black and white paint. I was going to go with cream but I remembered these things have to be seen in the dark. I finally finished the sign to the concession stand. I have a pic of it also. I won't actually put of the sign until October. I will not leave it up all year round. It will go on top of the concession stand. Anyway, I am having a blast creating!!
We are moving along here. We have 2 hallways done from trailer one to trailer two!!! Woohoo!!! Only five more to go. I can almost see the light at the end of the graveyard!!! Once we get the trailers all connected then its decoration time!! I am so looking forward to that. I will have pictures this weekend. Keep sending good vibes this way, I need all I can get!!
Here are a few pics of the fireplace I built. This was my first attempt with crown molding. I finally figured it out. I have not aged it yet. I plan on painting a brick look on the inside. Also, I found this great victorian sofa and a great price.
