Did a little goring up in the kitchen today. The kitchen just needed a decent make-over. I used acrylic paints mixed with stuff like 15 bean soup beans, saw dust, various beans, crushed corn flakes, mixed with shellac and polyurthane mixture. It's just a start, but what I did tonight turned out nice for round 1.
Looks great guys! I sure am lucky to have so many cool haunts in the Dallas Area. Nice work, its a real treat to have folks who care so much about their show.
Just one question...maybe I am just not seeing it....are there sprinklers in this attraction?? If not how do you manage to get away with that? Here in northern Michigan we can't have anything over 1000 Sq Feet without having a sprinkler system - I have noticed a few haunts without them and just wondering if there are certain states that don't require them.
Texas has county and city codes which are very different, most county codes do not require sprinklers unless you will have 1000 people inside at once. There are a ton of different rules for different kind of structures and they change from city to city and city to county.

(Sorry to answer for you Scott, but Im in TX now and learned it was very different here)
We open tomorrow! Emily's room got a little more treatment tonight straight from the Vatican! I have no idea who or what dropped the bombs in the bathroom, yuk. And we pass on the pig feet around here for human feet. YUM!
