...I feel like everyone just thinks it's too soon. It was kind of tacky on Kings Island's part, but why was no one outraged about the Heath Ledger or Michael Jackson display?!!

Real stupid. I just dont see a need to target specific people, especially people who have just died recently. Your ignorant or drunk customers may laugh, but educated people will just keep quiet and think to themselves "why would these people have this scene in a haunted house?" The only scary thing about it is how tacky and disrespectful it is!

I agree with themagicofjustinarrigo.

I can see where its funny, but at the same time this was a recent death. Ive seen some events that depict elvis as a skeleton or as a zombie. same with marilyn monroe. though the people have passed, they died a long time ago, allowing people to have time to grieve and possibly bring themselves to make light of the subject.

That, and the guys death was pretty bad. it wasnt a heart attack or anything natural.

Because the people depicted as skeletons were celebrities, it's sometimes easy to forget that they were also human beings with friends and families. I know how I would feel if someone put up a skeleton display depicting a departed friend or family member of mine. "Rage" does not even begin to cover it.

Don't we? In almost every display, every turn?
Maybe this is why I noticed when I first opened 20 years ago that so many of my returning customers were in the medical fields?
Yes, Doctors, Nurses, Dentists, Chiropracters, Morticians...

The night Kurt Cobain was found dead the teengers coming through my house that night got to see my reaction to his apparent suicide by the poster I made and hung on the wall advertising "The Head-Banger's Ball!"
Suicide is the number one "Killer" of this country's young people last I read.
" A perminent solution to a temporary problem", and should never be glorified or spoken of as it being a viable option or glorified by celebrity.
Of course if the Zombies have already chewed off two of your legs and are looking at the next one, then maybe it is check-out time!?
I would not have made the display mentioned of the murder/suicide.
