  • Which show best to launch new haunt supplier?

We've been working for the better part of a year getting our company ready to launch. Still building props, but will have a demo of each of our new props (about a dozen of them) done in the next couple of months. Unfortunately, with the current hard times, we may have to pick and choose where we launch. We wanted to be vendors at both Hauntcon and Transworld, but booth space pricing may force us to only vend at one or the other. We're looking for input on which show would be better to launch at.

Our props are fairly elaborate (but not complex) and not low-dollar items. They are geared more to professional haunts and attractions.

Any input would be greatly appreciated! TIA!

Hands down Transworld is the show for professional haunters. That's where most go to spend their yearly budgets. 110% debut at Transworld.

Yep, like Front Yard Frights said, Transworld will be the place that has the largest concentration of Haunted Attraction buyers. HauntCon is fun and might be good for some vendors but Transworld is the bulk of the HA business.

I've been to IAAPA and that show is the biggest by far for amusement and Transworld in St Louis biggest for just haunt equipment. IAAPA was cancelled this year (November) waiting to see what happens with Transworld (March).
