Yes, they actually use blanks. The price of the blank shells were well worth the cost because the guns delivered the effect we were looking for... super loud shot, fire and smoke out of the barrel and the spent shells flew out of the side with zero maintenance issues. Exactly what we were looking for.

Last Halloween our haunt had a scene that required a couple of machine guns. Made of heavy weight metal and look 100% like the real thing. We no longer have a use for them, so I am listing both of them for sale. They are in great shape, used for a total of 10 nights.
We paid $239 each for them, asking $125 each. Also have alot of military clothing... make offer.
