    The Legend of the Hookerman

I thought the story would be about a male prostitute superhero.

    The Legend of the Hookerman

Some say it is the ghost of a night watchman on the Bartley/Flanders spur of the railroad who fell into the path of an oncoming train. Knocked unconscious from the spill, he awoke to find that the train had run him over and cut off his left arm. The crew of the train saw what happened and rushed to his side to try and stop the massive bleeding, but he went into shcok and soon died. It is said that his spirit wanders the tracks with a lantern looking in vain for this missing arm.

The flickering yellow and green glow resembles the light cast from an old lantern and swings genlty from side to side as if being carried along the ghostly tracks by an invisible hand. At times it appears oblivious and tragically alone, as if searching for something that has been lost forever. Other times it seems to breckon, challenging those who dare to follow into the darker shadows of the railroad's past.
