Just FYI, the hotel is on to this now, and we got alot of grief. They wouldn't cancel our previous reservation. TW stepped up though and we are in at $ 55.00. Thanks again Shane, we are taking an exrtra guy from our shop thanks to this discount, he wants to have your children..., he's never been to TW!!!

Well in all respect the Ren Grand should not get all ticked after all they did accept the offer! Heck better to get something for the room than nothing. If anything sounds like they picked up several people who were staying at other hotels.

No, TW is actually pissed that the Hotel gave them such a good deal? They played hardball with TW and got burned thanks to Captain Kirk. They would not let us cancel the hotel through them, only through TW.

Yea Matt... that's because you booked through TW in the first place.
I booked through the hotel (it's a Hyatt) and just like most hotels you can cancel up to 24 hours before your stay no questions asked.

This Priceline deal still amazes me! I wonder if the net result is the hotel loosing revenue (because of cheaper room rates) or actually coming out ahead because more people will be staying there (more rooms filled for cheaper rates).

Whatever the case, more of us in the main, cooleo hotel the better!

I wonder how hard it's going to be for me to actually cancel my original reservation. Originally, I registered at another hotel through TW.

A couple of days ago, I called TW and they refused to cancel my reservation over the phone... they told me I needed to send them an email, then they would send me confirmation that the reservation was canceled. I did as they asked and I still haven't gotten an email from them yet...

Adam I would think you can cancell like any other hotel. You have gave them more than enough time!! Also I think TW should take a stand and say hey why cant this be the room rate every year if the show stays in St. Louis

I was wondering last night if TW was going to start throwing a fit cause everyone was cancelling. Anyway, as soon as I got my reservation from priceliine, I called and cancelled the other hotel from TW. They did mine right away over the phone. I bet they all of a sudden got all these cancellations and are pissed.....
