Buy 16 gauge wire, tie rubber bands every so many inches, cut them after they are tied to leave the ends pointing out, spray paint silver , or not. This is what a Hollywood production did here in Mount Carroll and it filmed great!
How close will anyone really be looking at it?
Ive seen awhole bunch of this stuff Hoots....mainly around old farming fences and Prisions. Im sure youll get shot if you try to take them off the prison fences but hey who knows if you try you might get acouple of dates.....
Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're an asshole.

That's a really good idea. I may do that 'cause it sounds like a pretty decent alternative.
What we have done is take brown 14 gage wire, it comes in different shades of brown.
Take 2 wires and put one end in a vise and the other end in a corless drill. Spin the drill to get the wire to wrap to a twist you desire and then do the rubber band deal.
I may want to note that we striped the ends so we could hold the twist with solder in a few places.
I guess I will throw mine in there too. Couldn't hurt, we are just getting started with our stuff and the exsposure wouldn't hurt. http://www.wigleyfx.com/
