Did a mounting strength test the other day. Mounted a B1 model to a 1/2" plywood panel with 2 wood screws and stood on it while camera flashed away. No damage to Skull-Ezz shell or pull-out.

I have to say I do really love those Stonegate skulls. I'm gonna have to get in touch with them. I also like the cryptic import skulls as well. I'm looking for aged skulls that I can place all over my haunt into different rooms and such. The cryptic imports I can stain and latex myself to give it then aged effect.

I'm gonna have to back stonegate on this one. I looked at the pictures and for the price with the quality its insane not to buy 100. Those skulls look better than the ones at scarefactory in those facades and they charge a bazillion dollars. Yes thats a real amount. BAZILLION DOLLARS!

Stonegate is developing a great product that is needed in the haunt industry. Inexpensive skulls you can actually screw to a wall because of the flat back design and made with quality. Looks like the secret is out fred! Time for production lol

Bill,
We sell foam skulls...................$80.00 per dozen..............check out the site for a photo. We have not updated the site but we also have skull fragments and ones with the lower jaw. The fragments are basically side and front profiles. The skulls with the lower jaw are $90.00 per dozen.

How about these?

They have a flat back for easy mounting on walls or ceilings. And I know for a fact that they're under $5 each.

could you..
Take one skull, make a mold from it and pour your own?
Depending upon what you expected of these skulls, and the indoor/outdoor climate they had to flourish in...
Plaster, cement, portland cement might be the cheapest material to use. If you are bunching them together for an overpowering look the smaller more delicate parts of the skulls could be overlooked.
I know making a mold of a human skull is tricky if you want or need detail.
The main thing is to not forget to replace your skull inside your head when you are done.
OR everyone will be calling you "Jell-O Head!"
Pity the barber trying to give a good haircut then!
(Reminds me of the discussion I had with a man-of-God who said, "Skulls are Evil!"...but where would we be without it?")
I always thought God made us and he didn't subcontract out the skull to satan's workshop although those of you with migrains might tend to disagree)Last edited by Jim Warfield; 02-05-2009, 01:17 PM.
