  • Sponsorsships with pepsi or coke

Does anyone have a sponsorship with Pepsi or Coke? I know both of these pay quite a lot for sponsorships and I was wondering how hard they are to be sponsored and what their sponsorship programs include...any other tips for sponsors would be gladly accepted too =).

I have been working with Pepsi for years...they are great to work with.

Coke has a lot of haunts already with Six Flags. I would try Pepsi first.

I've heard of a bunch of people complaining that Coke is not too easy to work with, but have only good things to say about Pepsi. This applies to the entire entertainment industry, not just haunting. But hey it's worth a try, no harm in asking. You may also want to talk to some of the energy drink companies. Some of the lesser known ones may be more interested in donating inventory than cash, but you take what you can get.

I'd suggest you come up with varying levels of sponsorship, so anyone can be a sponsor, not just a major corporation looking to donate thousands. And for each level outline what the sponsor will get in exchange.

I know Monster and Red Bull have sponsored several haunts, so I would suggest contacting them.

Coke, helped us out last year, as for how to approach them, we deall with them everyday so I'm not sure how you would approach them from a outsiders point of view. They made us signs, banners and gave us lots of product and a cross promotion with Harveys supermarkret, very cool.

                Since My Customers Are Older

I might try to get Depends for a sponser. Anybody ever had them as a sponser before?
Maybe this idea is "thinking outside the box"?
I hate it when Mr. Tuxedo , Spookhouse Cat thinks outside of his box.
I try to keep his box very clean too!

I too have worked with both and found Pepsi easier to work with. Be aware as people have alluded to, you can probably get cross promotion, possibly a deal on product, maybe some posters etc, but chances are slim to none on getting cash.

I never bothered, went in with a cross promotion idea and they accepted it immediately.

With cross promotion, you would put the Company's logo (ex. Pepsi) on your print ads, billboards, website, etc. So Pepsi would get promotion from you, and in exchange they may give you product, posters, etc.

With us we put cokes logo and Harveys logo on the print and website in return Harveys let us put our herse in their lobbey right in front of a huge pumpkin made from fnia or what ever that coke 12 pack is and they passed out our flyers. Coke gave us a banner that was hung in front of the store and signs that we used along the road and a lot of product. Harveys gave us all the ice we needed and trash bags and ten cases of water. On the last day of the haunt they made a big sheet cake with our logo on it for the cast to eat. It is not hard to get things like signs product ect. they will just write it off.but as RJ said cash....not so easy.

I worked with my boss today (since I'm in my 2nd week and training) for Coke and I pitched the 'Monster Energy Drink' sponsor idea for the haunt. He looked at me and said "Now that's a good idea! Makes sense...we'll look into it!"
Coke owns Monster in my neck of the woods...
                              So...I guess we'll see!
