  • Weather sucks...

How does it go from frosting and killing one of my tomato plants last week to 90 degree+ weather one week later? Man, our weather here is screwy.

Yes it is. That's why we should all live underground. Before they plant us there in that box.

Most weather comes at this town from the southwest. 18 miles away to our southwest is the widest spot in the whole Miss. River, 3 miles wide.
Often the scary looking weather divides at that spot , then goes north and south of us.

We went from well below average temperatures last week, to today possibly setting a heat record.

I love 90 degree weather. I would rather sweat all day long than be freezing cold any day.

And it is your fault it is 90 degrees already, you and your predictions!

If I have an outdoor work project and it's sunny and hot, I can work all day as long as I guzzle water and my muscles don't hurt, unlike the colder parts of the year when I have those aches all the time.
Several years ago people would drive passed to see if I had keeled over dead yet from digging a big trench through my side yard in the hot summer sun.
I can dig all day with a shovel that has a small head on a long handle. (Sounds kind of provocative doesn't it?)
That big trench is my concrete exit tunnel from the basement now.
I actually expanded the haunted part of this old haunted house.
People have been messed with while walking through the tunnel and there is not anyway I could be affecting those things as I am leading them out and there is no place to hide anyone or any devices in a concrete tunnel.
There have also been some very strange pictures taken in there too.
