Finding sponsors is tough... you do it and its a grind. I can tell you a couple things we did

    1) We hosted a party for sponsors at the haunt during the season and again in the spring.
    2) You have to call these people and chase down the RIGHT person.
    3) They don't need your advertisement they need to sell more merch... come to them with a plan on how to sell more of their products.
    4) Sponsors love free tickets, contests, and photo ops at your location

Our new big thing is photos at the locations sponsors love that idea because people take pics then share themselves on the web.

Domino's: They are putting our coupons on every pizza box.

Jimmy Johns: They're paying us money, and we're promoting their delivery so when you exit the haunt your food is waiting.

Sparkling Water: They're setting up displays in grocery stores promoting our haunts

Missouri Lottery: They're setting up Adams Family photo ops and promoting Adams Family lottery tickets.

In each deal we're getting paid cash.

Yes, interested in hearing the creative ways you provide value (besides the typical logo and brand recognition on promo materials) to potential corporate sponsors and HOW you attract them from the beginning.

We worked out a deal this year with Jimmy Johns where we put up a sign at our location to order Jimmy Johns. So when you get out of the haunt your food is waiting for you. We got a call and ask if we were interested and we said hell yes! We're stoked.

Scaring Up Sponsorship For Your Attraction

    Hi All,

Besides the haunted attraction industry, we produce a wide variety of other "normal" events and typically cover at least 50% of our annual expenses through sponsorship income. When it comes to the haunted attraction industry, we haven't had the best of luck and I'm interested in hearing how/if you secure large scale, corporate MONETARY sponsors ($5k-$20k per) and what type of benefits or tiers you offer?

Thank you for any insight you can provide!
