Sean, that would be a blast. Dont know how much I can bring to the table, but a couple of my gang are pretty good on stuff. I would be willing to bring my cast up and help you do a blitz build or whatever.

Thank you all so much for your input. It is so funny that once you are in this industry, you never look at things the same. I drive my family crazy cause we will be watching a tv show and all of a sudden I will hit the pause button to look at a cool wall or set. LOL, I have even started to influence my kids. My 9 year old girl will come running upstairs and have me look at "look at the awesome distressing in this scene" LOL, thats not normal!!

BTW< Jonathan, be careful about what you write. I might just take you up on your offer........

I agreewith Barry. I usually think of Green. Watch the film "Session 9" or the remake of "House on Haunted Hill" may give you some ideas.

Remember I am only an hour away from you or so, I am always happy to come on down and do some set work.

I always think of that "hospital green" color.

How about dripping rust against faint yellow? Or greenish moss against a light gray? Or completely rusted walls with scratches?

started a topic OK, I admit, I am not a great set designer

OK, I admit, I am not a great set designer

Unfortunately I am still a newbie in this industry. I am trying to learn, and thanks to seeing some great haunts like Terror, 13th Gate, Realm Of Darkness, Dreamreapers and many more, I am starting to learn how to distress a room and make it look cool. However, I still sometimes think too "in the box". For example my idea of a psych ward used to be white walls with red pait "blood" splattered over them with "scary words written in the blood" ooooo scary!!! LOL. Last year the great gang at Svenpuss showed me how to nasty up the walls with distressing. Now this year, I want a hospital/sanitorium theme in part of the haunt, but dont want just white walls as the base colors. Any ideas on other base colors for that kind of a section?

    Thanks for your time....
