Doubt if we'll get around to selling videos again - just to much work for the little money.

But I do have some uneditted footage of our parade last weekend. Great way to keep the crew involved until the season starts and we ended up with about 35 participants. We were in that good old pirate parade Cinco de Mayo in San Jose.

Great update! I do agree that you should nix the intro; it's cool but bogs down my hi-speed internet (on a Mac using Safari and Firefox). The fade-in menu and scroll is far more effective on the outset...and you'll encourage repeat viewings by not forcing guests to endure the same slow-moving animation.

If you're totally in love with the intro, then have a "skip intro" option at the bottom. Your haunt is one of a select few I've always wanted to attend (I'm up here in Seattle) and your site makes me want to visit even more!

    Kenny!
I didn't know you were coming until it was too late to change plans. Needed to spend the weekend in Seattle.

    Next time!

Karl nice site! I like how the objects are interactive. You need a gallery and a video though!. Your haunt is too awesome not to show off Matey!!!

    Darn

I saw the TV shows and the videos on youtube. A longer video of the whole thing would really be something.

    Karl, you have a video?

Will it be listed in the store? I'd love to buy one, especially if it includes any parade footage. That must be a sight!

    Hey Karl,

Looking great! But the whole site loads very slow, and I have pretty fast 10mb download internet. It gets kinda frustrating after a short time.

thanks for the video btw, arrived a couple days ago.

I love the website, but I would definately get rid of the into. The ship looks great at first, but eventually becomes distorted and pixelated. It doesn't flow well with the rest of the site and is way too slow. Or you could just have a button to skip the intro. You can skip the intro by clicking home, but some people may not figure that out right away. But either get rid of the intro or get a completely new intro.

    Shawn,
Actually The Village of Darkness didn't do the photo or charter-a-ship. That be me
I am going to have the enlargement onmouseover on the charter pics, just can't find the method I want to use (no javascript - please)

    Looks good

Everything seems to load very quickly for me on Explorer 7. The first time you see the home page it looks like the ship is coming towards you, but the second time it does look like you are aooming in on the ship. The Photos link works for me so they must have just got that done. The Ticket Sales works, as do the links to sponsors. The photos on the Charter-A-Ship page don't enlarge. Might I suggest making them thumbnails so they van be made bigger? Hope this helps.
