Boards for walls

I have about 500 sheets of 4 x 8 boards that are only 1/8 thick that are being given to me. I know haunted typically use quarter inch material but has anyone tried 1/8 inch material? Would it work to just screw two 1/8 boards on top of each other? Thoughts? Any experiences? Thanks

I think you really need to put a frame behind those boards... you can build a frame out of 2x2 2x3 or 2x4. I wouldn't just have boards up. Larry

Solid advice I was intending to have a solid frame on it. So rephrasing the question, would it work to put two 1/8 boards on both sides of a solid frame? So 4 1/8 boards total.
