fiberglass works the best for me just make sure the laminating resin you use is compatible with platinum cured silicone or you'll get reeeeaaaaallly pissed off, reeeeeaaaallly fast lol!

If plaster- Ultracal 30 is standard.

But fiberglass is better I hear, Lighter, lasts longer.
