Jeeze! Just thinking about whiplash makes my neck hurt, I've been rear-ended before as well. It was a rather slow speed rear-end thankfully but still, a rear-end collision all the same! The guy that hit me took off & was chased down by a cop that just so happened to see it happen as he was finishing up with another wreck! That guy had it coming to him! Hit & run? What a coward!!!!

Anyways, sorry to hear about your inncident! Here's to a speedy recovery!

I Was Lucky

When the Sausage semi hit me he was going 75-80MPH according to three witnesses, I wasn't moving. I did not get whip lash, just a small cut inside of my lip. People who see the car (it's in my backyard as a display) can't see how I survived??
Then in a dark room in a haunted, haunted house I finally admit the truth.. I did not .
Survive.
Then the fun begins.

Move slower Allan, soak in hot water, look into getting a weekly massage to make things right again, it will help.

Just got back from the doc, good news and bad. It will take 4 months to heal minimum. I have 2 torn ligaments and a torn muscle. I have pain pills and muscle relaxers so that will be managed. He also said "everything I used to do pain free I can still do, it just wont be pain free" meaning I can still get the things done I need to get done and not cause myself more damage.

Allen Hopps, I feel so bad for you. I remember the weeks following my whiplash. I couldn't squeeze toothpaste without it hurting or lift a dinner plate. I have had whiplash from being rearended by another vehicle coming about 35 to 40 miles an hour and its no picnic!
