  • Wall Panels..

Are there any vendors or anyone that you guys know that sells prefab'd wall panels? I saw a few videos where it looked like they had a vacuum formed wall panel of steam punk and brick etc.

    Thanks,

    Dewayne

these are just vacuform panels, you still have to frame and support them.

      Vacuform gets expensive quickly.

        Thanks Allen!

yeah, I'm only needing 1 to 2 rooms and a hallway skinned. Rest will be hand carved foam. Not bad prices either! Well, at least cheaper than I expected. Vacuum formed skull panels are cheaper to buy for me, than to make the skulls and build my own wall.

        Thanks again.

Any other cool sites/vendors you wanna share?

          Steam Punk Walls

Im currently designing steam punk walls out of foam. Its actually not that hard and relatively inexpensive. Mine will have spinning gears and areas where fog can be piped out of. might be an idea if you got more time then money.

Nethercraft looks nice but they are not a true 4x8, which makes things tough. Nightscream studios are the best and a true 4x8.

Pre fab panels are great, but learning to do the details in your haunt, imo, makes the haunt look more realistic. The West Coast Haunters Convention as well as most of the other haunters shows offer classes and how to work shops on haunt room design and faux painting.

Anyone event which should have this seminars taped. Oregon is kinda far for us East Coasters and I'm scare of the Boogeyman too. He probably hasn't bathed in decades.

                  Panels

My favorite of the suppliers is Nethercraft. I like the selections and the construction. Also, they are close by if I decide to order.

Panels are a lot work but I agree with someone saying that you learn by doing and trying different ways of getting results. My home haunt I 40 4'x8' of plywood all painted and as years progress they have got much more detailed.
