Not to be rude but remember this is merely the number of total posts.

My single line above in response to the thread serves no purpose but to response and it would be a post.

The continued info in this post may or may not be more productive and is still a post.

Again not to be rude to the posters, but responding three times in a post thanking people for responses tends to bump up the totals. There are individuals out there that do not response to every post, may not respond more than once and are VERY valuable posters to this forum.

Remember quanity vs. quality. I prefer reading through information as opposed to merely "chat" responses.

My only purpose is NOT to slam those on the list. It is merely to remember that we have many other less frequent posters than add EXTREME value to this forum. Also one of the last times this was brought to light there was a rash of postings of nonsense, one word responses, etc just to increase people's listing ratings.

This is a free flowing forum and it is appreciated for that. Just remember we get great information and we get dribble. Those of you posting those nuggets of great info, PLEASE continue. I do not care HOW many posts you do or do not have. One GREAT piece of information is worth having to weed through a few of my rantings!!!

Yeah, I was thinking to myself too, "would I actually want to be on that list?" But those are all good people, very helpful many times as well with their posts.

I am not so amazed by how many posts that a few people have as how few people actually post regularly, or even at all. There are nearly 2500 members of this forum, yet only 84 have 100 posts or more. That is a lot of lurkers! It is great to come in and learn from the postings here, but these forums really only work when as many people as possible exchange their thoughts and ideas. While I tend to agree with the quality over quantity idea and am not an extremely prolific poster myself, I would really like to see more people jumping in to share their knowledge and ideas. To those who already do, thanks! To those who don't, quit sitting on your hands and share some of YOUR thoughts and ideas. Rant over.

Well the top guy there HOWCO is a test account, its NOT really the top poster... so your top ten needs adjustment.

I will change the number of posts he has so you can adjust your list.

I think more people should post, I think or know we have the ENTIRE industry reading this board word for word, while many of them are NOT members of the forum, or ever post.

We need more people to make quality posts so we can all learn more from each other. I look foward to having more people join this forum and offering their insight!
