  • Thank You Larry!

For the past few days I've been feeling especially grateful for the people who have had a positive influence in my life, either directly or indirectly. I just wanted to take a moment to say thanks to Larry for the years of providing this website and forum. Larry devotes an incredible amount of time, energy and money to provide this service to the haunted attraction industry. Because it's been available for so long and I've enjoyed the opportunity for so long, I sometimes take it for granted. In looking back, I realize how instrumental this site has been in my ability to successfully manifest and realize my haunted attraction business goals and dreams. As a forerunner in the industry Larry has made great sacrifices to provide us all with a centralized medium for discussion, debate, information sharing and learning. Through this site he also encourages us all to share as well. Additionally, this site has become one of the most powerful tools for promoting the haunted attraction industry in existence, which benefits all haunts, both for-profit and non and as a result benefits all the charities we select to help through our businesses. At any rate, Larry, I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you!

I will second that! This site has been the most instrumental part in my haunt career! It's how I found out about TW and MHC, among many other things. And I've met so many great friends over the years, that I consider to be my extended family. And it's getting better year by year.

Thanks you Larry for all of your hard work on this site.

Well said!!! Everyone is always quick to criticize, but hardly anyone takes the extra time just to say thanks!!!

I worked in management for years. Any time I got an unsolicited compliment about an employee I always copied it and noted it in their personal file.
Once questioned on this practice I replied that ANYONE can and will bitch about the least little inconvienance but hardly anyone will stop and take the time to leave a positive comment. So I feel that ONE positive compliment is worth TEN negative comments!!

We all tend to take too much for granted. And in our business this Forum is a great example. Kelly you are right there is a ton of time effort and money that goes into this... just think how much time goes into your own site and that's only at the most maybe a fraction of the time Larry puts in!!!

If you don't hing this site matters, just think how much you were jonesing the last time it went down for upgrading!!!!

So I too would like to add my thank you. Larry we may complain and seem unappreciating but your work and effort IS greatly appreciated!!!

I have to say alot of us on here probably do take this site and the work Larry puts into it for granted. I for one am grateful for all the hard work he has put into it over the years. Ive learned countless things over the years and met alot of great people that I wouldnt have other wise. I have been on here for like 14 years or more. Almost on a daily basis. Its great to help each other and share things from success to not so successful. Larry has always been an inspiration to me with everything he does. From his haunts, his videos, and this website. Thank you Larry!
