    Listen!

There are about 20 ways to cast your face, three of them work great, the rest have a 10% or greater chance of messin you up. I want to clear up your language some. You dont want to cast your face, you want someone to cast your face, you cant do it alone. You have to get the person doing it to learn as once it starts you wont be able to help them.
Call- words are best spoken, so dont do this through email so you are understood. Call Bity mold supply they have everything you need talk to Mitch, dont talk to anybody else just Mitch. He 100% knows what he is doing.

This is the member directory of the lifecasting association. All members are listed and I bet you can find some near you. Get them to cast your face, might cost $200 or so but well worth it. I had my head cast in silicone so I can make many copies of my head cast out of plaster or resin or fiberglass.

DO NUT USE ANY GYPSUM Products on any part of your body! You create the negative mold of your face with ALGINATE, then the Positive mold of your Face with ULTRACAL.

Your best bet is to find someone that has some experience life casting to make your cast for you. Or at least someone who has studied a couple of demonstration videos and feels confident about what they are doing. It is pretty simple, but you can end up wasting a lot of materials, and make it an unpleasant experience if it mishandled.

It sounds like you're a beginner so I would highlyrecommend monstermakers.com because they are more for the common enthusiast, whereas smoothon is high quality and extremely reliable, unless you're a chemist or experienced, it may give you a harder time simply because of the way the instructions are and such. I would try a beginner kit from monstermakers and if you like it and want to keep going, try upgrading to smooth on

Alginate for the negative with cotton batting and plater bandages, Ultracal 30 for the actual life cast with a pvc Handle.

    LifeCast my face?

What would be the best material to use if I wanted to do a LifeCast of my face? And do you know where I can get it cheap? Im wanting to make myself a Silicone Prosthetic, so I need some quality silicone as well. Any know where I can get a good deal?
