  • New artist :: Alex Pardee

Just got a new art book as an early valentines gift and I had to post about it. Lets face it, some one has to keep you people updated when it comes to art and I don't mind.

Alex Pardee is an artist with his mind not up in the clouds but in some of the darkest places of the human mind. His art captures depression and anxiety disorders along with emotional struggles with the use of ink and water color causing a very mixed emotional appeal with his work. The feel and concepts being very dark yet using a very vibrant pallet of color to give you a more inviting warmth to an emotional side. Confusing yet inspiring, and worth looking at.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I do.

The genre is so full of derivative work it's good to see a mostly clean slate and vision. Really good work, most of it would interpret well into sculpt or costume.

          congrats on a splendid gift.

I love his art but didn't know his stuff expanded to such a level of creepiness and awe. I am a huge fan of bunnies and my boyfriend even calls me Mochi after a Japanese rabbit that lives on the moon and makes cakes. So when a creepy artist came along with creepy bunny art I as all over it.

Again this is really funny but NOT SAFE FOR WORK. Enjoy the link.
