    Wow, sounds like fun! Unfortunately, I won't be in NY until a few weeks later, otherwise I'd definitely attend! I'll be looking at their gallery for pix, though! Have a great time!

    The Zombies are coming. The MF Gallery is playing host to an art show of apocalyptic proportions. I am honored to have my work included in this show, which features artistic representations of Zombies from a veritable who's Who in the art world. Here's the press release, followed by a picture of one of my zombies posing with non other than the King of Zombies himself... George Romero!

    MF Gallery Presents A Zombie Battle Performance & Art Show

    THIS BULLETIN IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE… THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT
    SHOULD BE
    REGARDED WITH ALL SERIOUSNESS WHEREAS THIS MAY BE THE END OF LIFE FOR
    ALL
    SPECIES ON THIS OUR PLANET EARTH… “People of earth: The time of the
    undead
    is now. I fear that April 14th will mark the dawn of a new age and your
    population will surely dwindle… The Constellation of the Reaper has
    Reached
    the Diabolic Dynasty… Our darkest hour is truly upon us- ZOMBIES WILL
    ATTACK!!”

    Following the success of 2006’s Zombie Art Show, Martina and Frank of
    New
    York City’s MF Gallery have decided to do it again! Zombie Godfather
    George
    Romero Himself says “Sounds Cool”!!

    This time on opening night, MF Gallery will actually be attacked by
    Zombies!
    A Band of Satanic Superhero Robots called Dethrace will battle the
    undead and
    then perform some of their new songs. Following the legacy of GWAR,
    Kiss,
    The Voluptuous Horror of Karen Black, with a little G.G. Allin mixed in
    for
    fun; Dethrace is a unique mix of Speed Metal and Crazy Performance Art.
    This
    event is not to be missed!

    Zombie artists will include: Ed Repka, infamous Megadeth cover artist;
    Gidget Gein, formerly of Marilyn Manson; Extremo, Portland’s own Clown
    Artist; Kevin Klemm, Corpse Creator Extraordinaire; Italian Horror
    Graphic
    Novelist, Giorgio Santucci; New York Artists Cecilia Granata, Javier
    Medina,
    Jeff Zornow, Joe Simko, Drew Maillard, and Garry Boake; as well as Jose
    Mercado, Sean Stepanoff, Stacy Lande, J Painter, Mark Riddick, Matthew
    Bone,
    and others…

    The Opening Party will be on Saturday April 14th from Seven to Ten pm.
    The Zombie Battle / Dethrace Performance will begin sometime between
    Seven
    and Eight pm- early arrival is recommended, as space is limited.

    To round off the Zombie fun, anyone who shows up in Zombie make-up will
    receive FREE BEER and BRAINS (No joke!) ...Of course, additional drinks
    and
    refreshments for living beings will also be available! Admission is
    free and
    open to all ages, no RSVP required…BUT ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

    MF Gallery is located at 157 Rivington Street between Clinton & Suffolk
    Streets, New York, NY 10002. Gallery Hours are Wednesday to Sunday, Two
    to
    Seven pm.

    Photos of this event will be up on MF Gallery’s website,
    (www.MFgallery.net)
    approximately one week after the opening. High Resolution Press Photos
    are
    also available upon request.
