Long before video cameras I had a cousin who took a concrete wheel used for sharpening axes on as you peddled the peddles to make it turn, and he mounted a fairly powerfull motor to turn this concrete wheel that was maybe 3 inches wide by 3 foot tall.
When that wheel broke a piece flew up and broke his jaw. He spent about a year "eating" through a straw with his jaws wired together.
Certain manually-powered devices are never supposed to have motors propelling them.
