Live feed is rough, patrons use alot of Curse words and say some pretty foul things. I am doing alot of video this year via a hidden camera and Im amazed at the foul things that are said by patrons. Live is a no go for sure, but edited video is golden.

Yes
We have done this for 2 years now. Limit it to your VIP purchasers to keep the bandwidth down, but eventually the link will leak out and everyone will have it anyway. We use a QR code on flyers to try and limit the viewers to using their smartphones instead of their computers, this helps bandwith use some.

We do a live video feed on our website; http://www.scarylexington.com
As for editing the video? WHY?! When people see how extreme the language can get from the customers BECAUSE of the scares!!... One could only imagine what caused such language. Tickets sell themselves!
We are NOT a family show... and we DO NOT market ourselves as such. No need to edit a damned thing... With over 10,000 viewers watching our feed now, and not ONE complaint about it.... we'll continue to do it as we are. The response has been AMAZING!!
