Hey Terror Field, I just want to say that you have an awesome attitude! A lot of people would be easily offended by constructive criticism and you were able to discern that hauntquarters was just offering help and you took it. With such a great attitude, you are destined for tremendous success! It was really nice of hauntquarters to take the time to edit the text and provide you with the modifications too! Nuff said, I'm waxing sappy.

No I will not slam you. I wasn't sure what spelling changes you made, it looked the same. I changed it anyways because Spelling is my bad side. Also when your putting the site together you don't have a whole lot of time and sometimes you miss the little things. So Thanks!

May I make a suggestion? This is just one of my pet peeves, but spelling and grammatical errors on a website suggest to me a lack of professionalism and caring on the part of the webhost. I'm probably going to get slammed for this (I usually am) or have errors on my own website pointed out (which I welcome since I know my inherited database is frought with errors and I can't find them all myself)

Here's a portion of your intro:
In 1965 the New York state government bought and made this area into a very successful campgrounds. Camp Powderly remained one of the most successful camp grounds until June of 2000 when we were forced to close because unusual occurrences of campers were becoming missing and weird and strange things happening. In October 2000 a major FBI investigation was underway until three FBI agents bodies where found dead. The case was closed in September of 2001 and the FBI declared there was no sign of foul play. The camp could re-open in October.

    Here's my suggested version:

I registered and watched the video, it was a little to long for my liking but a good showcase of there attraction. The kicker is I used my personal email and suddenly my inbox was receiving a bunch of junk mail. Not from Terror Maze but from the forum board they use which must sell the email addresses people use to register with.

Well I liked seeing the pics of the haunt, but the music and the screen wipe effects got to be just too much after a while.

Anyway, not to be mean or anything, but here is a direct link to the video for the folks that don't want to register.

    oohps sorry,

I was not complaining, did not know I came off that way.

I was just saying 95% of sites I visit that want me to register, I just close.

For me register ususally translates to 6 months of emails for " You can be the big man she needs. " or " Please help me ... I need to send you 6 trillion dollars my father gave me, and I will pay you a million $$$$$ to help me please sir", or even the dreaded message from" Kristy Kream".

    Not complaining, just my choice.

I think what everyone is complaining about is not just that they have to register. It's the fact that they have to take the time to register on a website for a one-shot deal like a video download. Most people, myself included (no offense), will most likely register to get the download but not visit the site frequently after that point. Some may never go back. I think that is what the complaint is. As for registering on this site, I was comfortable doing that because I am on here EVERY DAY. Sometimes multiple times a day. Why should someone have to register for a site they are only going to visit ONCE? :?

    Just my two cents.
