  • Storing Latex Masks

I know many haunters try to stay away from using latex masks due to sanitation and sweating issues, but I still use many masks inside my haunt for my actors. I was just wondering how you pros store your masks when the night is over as well as when the year is over. I have somewhere from 20-30 masks we use and I've yet to find a good way to keep them organized.

    What do you use/do?

    Fright.
We store our on wig heads in a climate controlled storage area, don't let them be stored in a flattened state or they will stay that way. I give mine a coat of armor-all before storing and that seems to help. Always lysol disinfect the inside before storage.
Early in my haunt career (when I thought wig heads were unreasonably priced) I would use gallon milk jugs as wig heads and put dowels on the shelf that the milk jug fit onto. That worked pretty good also. Cut holes in the jug so airflow can get into the mask while it sits.
