need info

so here i am thinking about my huant. I asked my self this..


how many air tanks do i need for my haunt???


now it's not for the little air tanks but the big ones for the hole place of the haunt.

i will have around 15-20 props that will run of air. I need to know how many do i need??? or infact how big of a tank, i need to get. some of the props will be small and there will be like maybe 3-4 props will be big. i have seen some air tanks that holds 80lbs of air. i just need some help. Thanks!!

forgive me, do you mean compressors or tanks? a tank just store air the compressor makes the compressed air.
Also your expected throughput will affect the number of compressors you need because thats how many times they are triggered.
What are your hours of operation?

hey Allen,

it was the air compressors.. not the small ones for the props but the big tanks that holds all the air. For every thing in the haunt. I hope i am saying it right....


oh and by the way my hours will most likely be Sunday-thrs. 7-10 and then Friday-sat. 7-12.

With the info I have (not enough) Im guessing you will need two 60gallon compressors. I would also put tanks near most of the animations. That is a ton of air props.
add up the psi needed for each prop to trigger
10 animations @ 50psi
plus
15 animations at 30psi
equals 800psi per group needs to be generated.
Im not sure if that helps you. but there it is.
