Ever Noticed?
Seems like most of us assume the person is always guilty?
"Innocent until proven guilty?"
No, "Guilty until proven innocent!"
There was a local case in which a very psychotic young girl was emotionally "in Love" with her teacher, when he didn't follow-through, she said he had.
Of course maybe physical evidence will prove what really happened since the complaint had it happening 1,400 times!?
Yee Gads!

The victim told officers that she was forced into sex acts more than 1,400 times over a two-year period, according to the police report.
With that type of frequency wouldn't you think someone saw/heard something?Every job is a self-portrait of the person who did it… Autograph your work with excellence!

People are accused of stuff everyday they did or didn't do... what I hate is when they drag the haunted house into it like somehow this haunted house has something to do with this accusation. I guess they are saying he took advantage of the girl in the haunted house as the owner I don't know.
But somehow the media always works the haunted house into the crime!
Terrible.

The vast majority of the media still thinks of us as our archaic 20th Century former selves so, that puts us all in the line of fire if one owner does something this awful.Mike Cirrincione

Wait For This Headline..Someday:
"A local man was arrested early this morning by State Police when neighbors were constantly complaining of the foul smell emminating from his property. Police found evidence in the form of human body parts, some fresher than others and clothing and a stack of personal jewlery and wallets.
Under initial questioning the suspect admitted that when he was 10 years old that he had once been taken through a local haunted attraction..and this is where his problems all began.
Sort of like the people killing themselves or trying to because of Avatar! See that news item yet?
Pathetic!

It does seem that if a person has ever been too or thought about going to a haunted house it has to be mentioned in the news story. I can see the news story now, man with long history of attending haunted houses kills intruder in house...coincidence I think not. Next speeding and the link to haunted house attendance. Sadly the news has become more about commentary and less about reporting.
I think part of it is people don't really know or understand what goes on behind the closed doors of a haunt, what kind of person creates an attraction with such a macabre theme and undertone. News people know this, they need to sell papers or air time so they use what ever angle they can to "punch" a story up a bit, even if there is very little to nothing connecting the crime to the fact a person owns or works in a haunted house.sigpic

did anyone see this
Time will tell in this case; seems as if they have some solid evidence. The guy was the founder of the haunted house and was accused of this years ago but passed a lie detector test and the wife defended him. This time she threw him out. The haunted house was dragged into it because it was one of the places he supposedly did these acts as well as in his home and the medical clinic he runs; evidence was removed from all locations. Search this guys name online and see the past accusations within the whole family. But again, let the authorities do their job and everyone will soon see. Unfortunately either way, the kids suffer the most.
