  • Priceline Deals on Transworld.

Well guys as you all know I am a huge Priceline fan and I been watching for sometime now and sadly I don't think Priceline will have anything for the Renaissance Grand as far as good deals this year. The NCCA game hitting the same time looks like what rooms we gonna be available were bought up some time ago.

As you all know my party is at the Renaissance Grand and I been talking with a few reps at the hotel and seems like this is true as those blocks have been sold out for some time now. Ok now here is the good news if you want to stay at the Renaissance Grand they do have the rooms at $139.00 I was told the regular room rate was $199.00 on Sun-Thurs and $209.00 on Fri & Sat plus tax so were still getting a good deal. Yeah I know its not the $55.00 well actually it was $69.00 with the fees but hey it is what it is. SO I ENCOURAGE YOU BOOK YOUR ROOMS NOW I BOOKED MINE LAST WEEK AND JUST HAD THE TIME TO FILL YOU GUYS IN! Shane and its Hey we still gonna have fun! Shane this time.

I went with priceline anyway and got the Crowne Plaza a few blocks away for 65. For the difference in price, I'll do a little walking.

I just got a room on priceline name your own price at the Hilton at the ball park for 65.00. It appears there are rooms still available in the downtown area.

Heres the Deal on the Ren Grand!

Sad fact but if your looking for a deal at the Renaissance Grand there is no deal. Yes there are other nice hotels in the area. I spent $20.000.00 with them on the Industry Party ( Insane Shane Party) and I could not even squeeze out anything better than the $139.00 per night. They told me with the NCCA Ball game in town they expect a sell out. One would think with our second year return and knowing the Priceline deal WE GOT LAST YEAR they would work better with us!

I will say this it does piss me off that we could get deals for $55.00 per night through Priceline and they could not at least give us rooms for $100.00 bucks a night. They were happy to serve us last year but they rather squeez every dollar they can out of us then to have the support of out Industry for a second year.

I am going to personally see that I get us Haunters and our Haunt family a much better deal for 2011. I really wished I could have got on this sooner but its now to late for anything this year, but trust me guys I have not let you down yet suck it up and grit your teeth and I PROMISE YOU A BETTER DEAL DOWN TOWN. I am already in talks with a hotel that is also right there beside the Americas Mart and they said they could easily beat the $139.00 price I got a feeling were going to be looking around the $75.00 mark at the Roberts Mayfair . Again don't hold me to it but I have talked with them and I know Paul Johnson has too so I/we will get you guys something better! Even now ( they reopen next month after an extensive remodeling) their rooms are $109.00 and they are also 4 star we will go where we will be welcomed at a good price every year and not strong armed. I will fight for you guys to save every dollar as I know every dollar you save will go straight back to our Vendors and Industry! Shane and its a PRMOISE! Shane this time.

$ 94 dollars per night next to Renaissance Grand

I just used hotels.com to book four nights at the "Roberts Mayfair - A Wyndham Historic Hotel". It is right next to the Renaissance Grand on 8th Street and only 100 feet further away from the convention center. The rate for a king was only $ 94. I booked a double queen for $ 112 ave per night (plus tax of course).

                Book quick.

That was the hotel I was telling you about! Its being fully renovated to the sum of like 10 million dollars so it should be good to go. I admit I am staying at the Ren Grand mostly because thats were the party is going to be. But I am going to check this place out while in town. It looks like most of the compalints were old they are not even opening back up till Feb 18th I think so I would not put to much in to what has been said till they reopen. Shane and its a good deal! Shane this time.

The hotel is being fully renovated. It will be the best hotel for a $100 you've ever stayed at... Look at the website for Roberts Mayfair in St. Louis..

Here is the deal I've never understood the big deal about being right across the street from the convention center. Most of these hotels have shuttles to and from the convention center. Every single hotel in the downtown area is less than five minutes away from the convention center.

Some cool places to stay... UNION STATION that place is awesome! It has its own mall, entertainment area, Hard Rock, blah, blah and its across from the Arena about 3 minutes away.

The casino is directly across the street and they have a big hotel its on the landing lots of places to eat and so on.

Lots of places to stay and nothing is far away even if you stay in the hotels near the Arch you can walk to the convention center in like five minutes. Just a thought.

                          union station

Very cool ideas on hotels/ entertainment...
Just speaking for me and my group $169.00 per night (union station Marriott) just to sleep and take a shower is really very high when I can get a room next door from the convention for under $100 bucks...
Priceline has some great rates a few miles away from the convention if you don't mind a cab or renting a car

Just a quick heads up... I just booked the Red Roof Inn for $65 a night.

Its in the Forest Park area which is about 5 miles away.

Also, if anyone were to book this place and need a ride, I will be by myself with room for 4 in my truck.

                              Hope this helps!!
