We put this tree up every year in the center of our barn and we also put one in our den which is decorated with purple bats and orange and purple lights

Garden Ridge has 7 foot pre-lit black tree for $75. Black trees are not that easy to find and actually are a lot more for tall one.

Why not let Christmas be Christmas? It's all in good fun to have a Halloween tree but its cooler to have a real honest to goodness Christmas tree for Christmas time. Why not have 2 trees, your main tree is a tradtional Christmas tree and you have a second smaller tree decorated for Halloween in a different room. Not everyone lives and breathes Halloween all year if you have other family and guests over they'd probably rather see a Christmas tree, then seeing a Halloween tree also would be more fun and interested, and less strange, to them....

I dont yet but Barry and Kathy Schieferstein do an awesome Father Halloween instead of a traditional Father Christmas on top of their mantle. Hes really sweet looking. I want one lol.

We do a mix of normal Christmas decorations and Halloween ornaments on the tree. I tend to use purple lights, and have everything from Nightmare Before Christmas ornaments to black snowflakes to little evil banshee and skeleton ornaments.

              Festofus tree!

We do a festofus tree. ITS A FEST OF US FOR THE REST OF US!!! We all gather around the pole of shame and the festivities begin with me, the haunt owner, listing all the ways my crew has wronged me through the season, then the test of strength!! Lol, Just kidding. I prefer to keep my Christmas season traditional

Do you do the Festofus the olde way, everybody is naked?
                Or just you?
Have to show the scars so they believe.
Of course to have scars you have to quit picking at them.
Then your workers might begin picketing!
                A real fun-for-ALL!
Just say:"So do you all want a piece of me? Come on! Come on!"

I saw a black tree at Walmart. I think they are 6 foot tall, but not sure. I was in line when I saw it. When I go back I will look and get the details.

Anyway, here's the picture of skull ornaments:
